Later that night we went south to St. Petersburg. We didn't know what was going on but there was traffic and then we started seeing people walking with their folding chairs. I saw a sign that read, "A Taste of Parnella." Not sure what that was but we found parking, grabbed Rusty and our chairs and started heading in ...

    ... loss. sigh.

Our plan was to find a great little hotel along the coast with some beach and a pool but it didn't quite go that way so we ended up with a longer driving day than we'd wanted but within 30 miles or so of our destination. We had a great room over-looking the gulf. I had looked forward to sitting on our veranda, sipping an absinthe, and enjoying the sunset until a storm came through and we retreated inside.
