We have a 5 hr flight to Minneapolis and the a 55 min flight to Des Moines. We paid for upgrade seating with more leg room......best $$$ I have spent. We had lots f eg room and each seat had a flip-up tv monitor with free movies or tv, which really made the 5 hr flight go by quickly.

Got in Des Moines at 11:00 pm and we were home about midnight.

What a great adventure this has been.

Oh yeah, and finished at +3 ...

I wrapped my heavy parka hood around my neck and face, hung a fleece throw from one cab seat to the other, anchoring it with the arm rests for protection for Lily and didn't complain(do you beli

... anything bigger than a shoe. Not a pair, just one.

So I emptied out most of the contents of the bag and stuffed them under the seat in front of me and stuffed the hiking bag overhead. I made myself comfortable with a bag of electrical cords, a neck pillow, a cylinder of Pringles, a book and a scarf. At least this flight would be short and sweet. I watched the sunrise from the airplane window and tried not to worry about whether my two checked bags were underneath me or ...
