      ... winter
      trip, and we had a great time, although I think we were a bit unlucky to catch a spell of not such good weather. We have learnt a lot, like the areas which we like best and which places are likely to get consistently dry warm weather. We tried lots of different campsites and now have an idea which sort best suit our needs.
      We enjoyed our month away and will probably do it again next year, bur most likely for a bit longer...... !

      We had expected to be able to select our seats and get our boarding passes on line but this service does not seem to be available - it allows me to reserve seats for all of our flights but only if I'm prepared to pay some 14+ Aus$ per seat - so no! Anyway we will have plenty of time to check in with our rather large suitcases which have to weigh in under 20kg for ...

      ... sounds long and loud over Southampton. Another hour sees us fairly tidy, not entirely sure where everything is but at least it is tidy. We have a pre dinner drink in the Cafe Carinthia, marred somewhat by a very pervasive odour which was permeating most of the second floor in that area. Not sure what it was but it was not pleasant. We are table 584 in the Britannia restaurant which turns out to be a table for 6 right at the stern on deck 3 which will be beautiful ...

      ... red chicken curry and Thai style salmon and peanut salad. For afters we both had Creme Brûlée which was an excellent end to a superb meal. Afterwards we went to the theatre and attempted to sit in our usual seats in the gods but were spotted by the boys who beckoned us to join them and the others who had dined together. They even brought me a parcel of white chocolates that had been served after dinner knowing my preference for milky bar buttons. Very kind of them. The ...
