I hiked out of Wrightwood at 12 with Taxi. We were going to hiker until the Sierra's together. After a morning of eggs, toast, muffins, coffee, and vitamin gummies at the Train Angels home I was moving like a well oiled tin man. For the first 12 miles I debated how it's impossible to hike the entire PCT. I have already had 2 road walks due to fires and protecting an endangered species. Although the PCTA detour says that the road is "Technically" ...
... people can be out here. I just met this person and already she is leaving me alone in her house. WOW!
Me, Taxi, Trail Legs, and Eris hang out in the house, watch tv. play with the 2 dogs, Pebbles and Sophie (THIS DOG EATS EVERYTHING!!! string, bar of soap, it doesn't matter, she will eat it) *we didn't feed her any of that, it's just what we were told*

I stripped down to my boxers, which is surprising because usually I am the naked type, and then went to check out ...
... find him, but it was a glorious reward. Thank you so much Coppertone. He also told us about this place in Arizona where we can pay $180 for 6 months of living if we are in an RV or some temporary docile. Sounds intriguing! We did a long 23 mile day as well and camped at the Cleghorn picnic area at Silverwood lake. Beautiful stuff and a beautiful day. PCT rocks. Thanks again Robert, Bently and Coppertone. You guys are the best and make for very light ...
While we were driving we saw horses (own by a farmer). One just happened to stop us in our tracks
literally. It was crossing the road right in front of us
and another one followed. Who ever
stops for a horse crossing? Then we
headed to Billings for the evening.
Staying in a hotel tonight --- looks like storms or rain possible.
