Iceland is definitely worth a quick trip, especially with the IcelandAir special deals. Just be aware that once you're there it's very expensive. Even the British that I met thought it was pricey. If I go back, the exchange rate would have to get better, it would be in summer and I'd be there Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for the nightlife on those days. The nightlife, and pretty girls that go out, was one of the highlights of the trip.

OK, then, the stockings, full of candy, chocolates (I received Trailer Mix, good for a worldtraveler!), some fruit, and little presents (I got a gift card for Starbucks, a nice name tag for my luggage, soap, hand creme... that was so nice to also receive presents!!). By the time we ...

... the back, not raining or snowing (yet), I take a deep breath to remember this special mountain air...

My train is the Amtrak train nr 27. I am too early, fortunately, the "Bingen railway station" which is just a small waiting room, is very well heated indeed. I eat the good pastries Stuart had brought me the day before (so nice, thank you Stuart), and meet my co-traveler. a very nice lady I do not remember ...
