Hi Everyone!
After catching up with work from school and just taking a few days to enjoy Florence, I was off to my next destination…Brussels!
We had found a great deal using Ryan Air and decided to jump on the offer.
We departed early from Florence by train in order to get to the airport in Pisa. After a quick transfer, we were there. The Pisa airport is very tiny, similar to Florence's airport. We checked in, and then waited ...
¡Estupendo!
Ontdek met ons dit prachtige land!!! ¡Vamos a Nicaragua!

... we wandered around town asking locals, "Do you know where I can buy the best fries in the world?" This is quite the joke because everywhere in Belgium says they have the best fries world. In addition to beer and chocolate, Belgians certainly take pride in their fritten, as they call their fries; They also like to point out that fries are a Belgian creation, so why do Americans call them french fries? They eat them with lots and lots of ...
Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium j.mccrary... pod that folds flat. That's right, flat. Besides hanging out with Mariano and Karin, I have been looking at jobs and spending time as a tourist. I've been to Brussels many times but this is the first time that I've been able to spend my time as I like. Monday was my site seeing day. Took my typical bus tour of the city to get my bearings. Frank, the tour guide, rattled off his spiel in English, French, Dutch, and Spanish. I remember much ...
Brussels, Brussels, Belgium edithdc... Cru - 87 - Grand Cru is the name a brewery seems to give their highest quality brew. This was definitely worthy of the title. * Trappist Rochefort 10 - 93 - Possibly the most well known of the Belgian beers is the Trappist. With only 8 remaining Trappist monasteries still producing beer (six in Belgium) it is always in demand. Chimay is likely the most well known though I came to Belgium in search of the evasive Westvleteren. Officially ...
Brussels, Belgium croxandlilt... that in my pocket for further investigation, don't you know?! I must also add an important note on iced tea abroad. While I have mostly chosen water with my meals- I have sampled a few iced teas. So far they have been flavored and they really have had a nice taste to them. Today though, I ordered iced tea and found out that the iced tea in Belgium is sparkling- wow- very nice, refreshing sensation. Had to add that for my iced tea ...
Bruges, Belgium kathryn42... I had time to kill, I went to a café around 11ham to have a wonderful white Hoegaarden, my favourite, and cycled around (I had Nadine's bike). By the afternoon, I went back down to Mathilde's place waking her up (she was supposed to be up early to go into town, as there was some street activities organised though) and we talked. I managed to contact Achim and later I went to his place to give him back the things that were in my bag from him and get my orange simcard that had ...
Brussels, Belgium maplefanta... group is a happy group, but I think their decibel level here may have been due to their indulgence of amber ales. 428 different types are brewed in this country including a popular new blueberry beer. Later we scattered like chickens into the Grand Place which is considered by most to be the worlds most beautiful square. It comes to life at night every July with a light show and various unlicensed entertainers. One young lady is dressed in candy tempting men to buy a bite. If ...

Brussels, Belgium petriasmith... I said? Was he unfamiliar with the Chinese? Was my accent so horribly blah? Thank God my old French teacher Madame Beatrice wasn't there to witness the moment or I'd never hear the end of it.) Really good-looking Belgian guy: Eh... il y a un restaurant Chinois la bas *big smile* (he smiled!) Me: Oh, merci beaucoup! (Can I have your phone number?) So, after saying a tearfully silent farewell to the really good-looking Belgian ...
