... a cab and waited for 3 hrs for my mom to arrive at the airport. Once she got in we met up with the super awesome airbnb host who picked us up from the airport. The group spent a lovely day in Antwerp today in a relaxing and informative follow-up to yesterday's lesson in the sometimes unforgiving Dutch fall weather. A local educator working in Antwerp led us into the cathedral and old town.

J and K spent a lot of the trip pointing out the differences between Belgium and the Netherlands, little things that leap out when you look for them. While the brick built houses look quite similar to me the trims around the windows and doors are more subdued colours in Belgium.
