... glass shopping. Ian is now collecting shot glasses as well so there is somewhat of a competition to find the best one. We also visited multiple chocolate shops to sample some of the local delicacies!

After going in to see the Cathedral, Tom and I decided to take Arthur on a little train ride that did a 45 minutes sight-seeing tour of the city. Ian decided to go out exploring on his own and meet us back in the city square -- we ...

The whole square is set up for entertaining as later several other bands played including a rock band. It reminded us somewhat of St Mark's square in Venice. We were walking down a side street and saw another military type ...

Chocolate Crawls and Cheap Beer

... mass. Belgians speak either Dutch or French, and the Dutch was so confusing to me. It's just similar enough to German to be vaguely familiar and I can manage reading a bit. Hearing it spoken also is okay but it looks and sounds just a tad bit barbaric. But after mass, we had a snowball fight and built a snowman in front of the cathedral in a small park. I was wounded by a large wooden longhorn when I slipped in the snow, but ...
