We headed out to Cloverdale, Oregon. Going to the Pacific City Thousand Trails. The drive took a little over 3 hours. We drove through Portland and Tacoma, Oregon using Interstate 5. Once we passed Tacoma, we crossed to the coast via Hwy 6. Another beautiful drive. Again we found more forest, rivers, and small towns. We saw lots of Christmas Tree and crop farms, lots of corn. The last 15 miles we were actually on Hwy 101. ...

Good news is that the little berg of Tillamook has a DENNY'S. Yes, a REAL honest to goodness Dennys. Great way to end an otherwise 'problem riddled' day, especially when I had a wee touch of Fireball before a dozen pain pills as I fell into bed.

Next day my ribs were KILLING ...
