Today we had a day off of rehearsals and a day
full of cruise staff duties! Because we couldn’t get any time in the lounge
they had us shadow a current Cruise Staff/Dancer to see how their activities
are run and see what a day is like. I followed Naomi most of the time. So I
started with a Walk for the Cure Breast Cancer Walk. On Deck 10 there is a

we unpack and go for a walk around town looking for somewhere to eat but what isn't already closed is closing early so we settle on Kelleys lounge which is like a diner and I have fish and chips and Jackie has Shrimp an chips which is ok we have a couple of beers,get some more for the room and call it a night on a wonderful day

On the way back to the site, I notice a gorgeous sky and take a detour via the beach. The colours are astounding and I feel lucky to be alive to see and appreciate such extraordinary natural beauty. As I head away from the beach, the moon is just peeking out above the hills in the distance and the stars are already plentiful. "And I think to myself, what a wonderful world..."
Woke up to a gloomy morning, looks like it wants to rain but probably won't and it may be the norm for this part of Oregon. We headed out to Cloverdale, Oregon. Going to the Pacific City Thousand Trails. The drive took a little over 3 hours. We drove through Portland and Tacoma, Oregon using Interstate 5. Once we passed Tacoma, we crossed to the coast via Hwy 6. Another beautiful drive. Again we found more forest, rivers, and small towns. We saw lots of Christmas Tree and crop farms, lots of corn. The last 15 miles we were actually on Hwy 101. ...
