... better shape. I will be competing in my triathlon in exactly one week from today on September 1st! I will be completing a sprint triathlon, which just means shorter distances…not that I necessarily have to sprint my way through the race. It starts out with a 700 meter swim, followed by a 16.7 mile bike ride, then concluding with a 3.1 mile run. When we woke this am we had a flat tire on the trailer. After a service call and a trip to Discount
Tire, we were on our way to Austin. It was pouring rain and there high winds so we drove slow and arrived in Austin after lunch. We walked to 6th Street and it is a beautiful city, If you are wondering whys here's no photos yet, it's because we have not taken a single photo. That will change tomorrow. Promise!

... music festival, now we've all met up again in Austin. We spent the next couple hours drinking beers and playing shuffle board. Shuffle board is a game played on a long wooden table about 20-25" long covered in sand, each player or team has 4 metal discs similar to a hockey puck, you push your puck down the table trying to get it as close to the end as possible, at the very end of the table is a 4 with a line then a few inches in front is a 3 and a line, ...

... getting up and getting ready to go eat and then purchase some last minute travel necessities. We went to another BBQ place Ant found. Not crazy about the name La Barbeque O.o but there was no line when we got there and the food was very good, not Franklin's great, but yum. We got pulled pork, brisket, sausage, and a big ass rib. (see the picture below of Ant eating it)
