I left Jacksonville bound for Houston and Buenos Aires by plane, and eventually to Parana, by bus. From wheels up in Jville to a warm embrace from Maxi (my Argentine exchange brother from high school) it was a total of 26 hours and over 5,000 miles. It was a long but smooth trip and it was worth every minute of it to catch up with him and his family Luli and Franco. (he's a 3 year old tazmanian devil but mostly human Maxi assures me) ...

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Hana State Park just outside of Jacksonville, Florida. We should have stayed longer but we were still looking for warmer weather.
