The thought of 9 and a half hours on a plane with a very large infant had led to many a sleepless night. However Isaac did me proud, charming all those around! We may have been a little unpopular when he ran around pressing everybody's remote buttons and then laughed at and poked all those asleep but in general people seemed to appreciate a friendly wave or a panda to cuddle! Canada Air is not well set up for infants. ...

... and Wagons, with very few Tarago Wagons. There does not appear to be any other type of taxi around. We managed to stuff 5 bags and 4 people into a Prius wagon.

Getting to the Holiday Inn at the other end of Vancouver. Bags were dragged in and we all hit the beds for a snooze. We caught up with Hunter and Jordan on Skype on our free internet. Realising it had been 8 hours since we last ate we had a light snack of toasted cheese ...

... months but there was also smashed houses lining the beach. We walked around to Bounty Beach where most of the accommodation options were to find one to fit our budget. Any of the new structures were quite pricey even though the majority of the island was in shambles. Doesn't really add up right? Anyways, we settled for a fan room with nothing but a bed and a bathroom and it was still $11 each! We felt we could find cheaper but after a long travel day we could care less ...
