... an hour and a half on a stair master but with no Oxygen!! The Grouse Grind was probably not a good idea for my first!! Gunna be sore in the morning!!
Good news is I've found myself a Campervan. A VW Westfalia named Betsy! All going well my money will be transferred in a day or 2 and i can get her kitted out and then its over to Vancouver Island for more hiking and Sea Kayaking for a few weeks, after stocking up on BBQing gear and Mozzy Spray!! ...

... received his “Farm Gate Opening 101 Certificate” at the end of the tour for all the gates he had to open and close. Colleen, Angela’s sister-in-law served us a wonderful morning tea and lunch with some of Angela’s family. The view from their kitchen/dining/living room was stunning, you could see most of their 800 acre spread and also a view of the Pacific Ocean. Wonderful morning!

After efforts to try and build them up for release back into the wild the government did not deem them fit enough to survive in the wild so they now live in this five acre sanctuary and have everything they need to live as natural and wild as possible. Grinder is the smaller of the two and is an inland grizzly and Coola is a coastal grizzy so slightly bigger.
