Today we set out to explore the old town of Hvar, working on the tried and true principle that our feet will take us where we needed to go. We headed for the Benedictine Monastery which is famous for its agava needlework, picking up a coffee on the way. The cafe had a sign on the way to the loo which reminded us of our dear friend Lynne Grant in Hobart, who is fond of a good red - see pic. Lots of lane ways and alleys and cobbled ...

Some people went on to another island - Carpe Diem but I left on a high and taxi boated back to bed. A wet bed. Turns out if you dont drain the outdoor shower hose then my and Sharelles bed gets the remains.
Luckily because of the shots I couldn't have cared less, its sooooo hot in the boat you end up sweatting the bed anyhow.

... the local restaurant on fresh seafood. It was delicious! Day two we had more sailing time. We made our way to the island of Mjet. After a long day in the hot sun we were pretty exhausted since we haven't experienced proper summer weather since Melbourne summer. We had the option to ride on bikes a few kms to a lake. But Vish and I decided to enjoy an iced coffee and a swim. Again the water is so clear and so blue. It was very refreshing after a long day in the sun. For dinner ...
