... and I ordered pork medallions from the meat side so we could split halfway for the best of both worlds. I ordered a pork dish, but the kitchen messed up and I got a much more expensive steak medallions so I wasn't complaining! Xenia and Karen got the shared fish platter which was huge and all the boys probably got steak. It was tasty all washed down with some delicious wine.

... seem to be very entrepreneurial Croats - you could use their sun-beds and umbrellas for 40 Kuna (about $8) a day. What a business! With the more smelly backpackers (we are probably a 6-7 on the B.O. scale, so not at the extreme… yet), most likely saving their Kuna for alcohol, DJ parties on the beach and pizza (rather than sun-beds) it provided us with a nice little break from the crowds. ... Cave, but we hadn't really done any research to figure out the best way to make this happen. So when we walked down to the pier and they guy said the boat was leaving for the Green Cave, Blue Cave and Vis in 2 minutes, we had to make a snap decision. We paid and got on. Then we got off again when we found out that the lunch had no vegetarian options for K and ran to a Tisak (small kiosk store that K kept calling a "Tiosk") to grab her some snacks. ...
