... Festival we didn't really know what to expect but we have enjoyed every minute. The first night we went to the festival everyone was just dancing, raving and smiling. Zcre Beach was a very short bus ride from Novalja, where we were staying, and there are at least 7 big clubs and bars there. ... All of the yacht week people basically had a dock party all day! One of the boats had face paint so they were definitely the attraction of the day haha! We all went over and got covered in face paint! We then had to get ready seeing as it was hvar day!! The supposed BEST day of yacht week! ... caught a water taxi to Palmizana. It is part of the Pakleni Islands which are about 20 islands just outside Hvar. It was one of the only "sandy" beaches around the cluster of islands nearby. There are many options to get around the islands, you can hire a little boat, hire a speed boat, catch a water taxi, or you even pay someone to escort you around. ... The cruise line (Katarina) that we used arranges people primarily according to age and language. Our fellow passengers were therefore mainly from New Zealand, Australia, the UK and South Africa. Cabins are small, but comfortable and air-conditioned and the boat is kept spotlessly clean.
