    מקום טוב לישון בו במאלה

    Reviewed Jul 1, 2012

It is certainly challenging to get to from the US (requiring well over 20 hours of flying time, typically through Dubai), but since we were already in Cambodia, we thought this would be a great year for a visit.
The scuba diving here is the best of anywhere we have been to in the world, so far, with so many enormous schools of fish of ...

Today was the earliest wake up call. 5.20am. No such thing as a lie in on holiday. But for very good reason - we were diving Radshoo Madivaru. And the name of the game is to be early. So early in fact, that we were the first boat to arrive and the first in the water. And the reason....hammerheads. You have to be lucky. I had been warned it was around a 10% chance of seeing one (which actually is fairly high - but I'm not particularly lucky!)

We were doing a blue dive. ...

And they said, "no". And he said, "She's from Little Rock. She grew up with Clinton. I ran into her a couple weeks ago at Kenny Loggin's house..." And I try really hard not to roll my eyes... He's a really nice guy and I like him - but it's pretty amusing how he can make the most mundane comment from ...

... diving deep into the blue again, chased by two enormous predators. Made us wonder why and how those smaller fish existed at all... and what it was about the bright lights of the end of the pier that drew them? Must have been something even smaller that came to the light, that they ate, which then left them to be eaten by something larger... Makes me grateful that we are at the top of the food chain as humans.

... wrapped up at the American Bank Pavilion for the Huey Lewis and the News 'Sports Anniversary Tour'. I bought tickets to see these guys a few years ago in Sydney but the tour got cancelled about a week out. I was stoked to see they were playing in Boston while I was here, found my way, picked up a ticket to get myself in the door (literally only in the door... back row) and I finally got my dose of Huey Lewie! After playing the Sports album in it's entirety Huey ...
