... eat dinner after the breakfast buffet and family lunch but the food has been so good it's been too hard to resist. Aki's mum had to leave early the next morning but Aki's dad was able to stay on for the buffet breakfast the next morning. More food! Black eggs and octopus balls

... is Takoyaki, octopus dumplings. I bought a packet of 8 from a Family Mart and the guy heated them up in the microwave for me. Once back in my hostel capsule, I set about my dinner of black eggs and octopus balls. The Takoyaki was a lot soggier than I was expecting, probably due to the microwaving, and even with the addition of various condiments was not that appealing. I guess I thought that as I like squid, octopus wouldn't be all that different.
How wrong I was.
