Playa Del Carmen - Good mix of beaches and locals

... We invented a new game (which we haven’t named yet) where one person would read a Spanish word from our phrase book, reveal a small clue and the other person has to guess the word. Whoever loses has to drink. It’s a great way to learn spanish and then forget it all by getting drunk! It’s fair to say our head-sized pina coladas didn’t last long, nor Lani asking if it was time for a cheeseburger from McDonalds…. Which we eventually got.

Further we asked for some food to be delivered to our room twice; once they took more than one hour to bring it, but for the second time it was much better and they were very quick. The housekeeping was also quite irregular. They always woke us up at about 8.30, offering to make our room. When we asked them to do it later they never came back and we had to call the reception if they could send somebody to make our room at about 17.00.

The ruins themselves were pretty special as they have the unique selling point of ...

... And we didn't pay the $50 fee bargain ;) Celebratory drinks at Zenzi bar - kiwi daiquiri definitely a favourite! Then back home, shower and ready to head out for our last meal at a nearby Italian restaurant with Livio and David. Skipping over the drama at the restaurant, we dropped Livio infront of hotel Cocodrilo and said our goodbyes sniff! V and mini V (anxious feeling that the end is ...

After not sleeping the night before I left, then staying up late with friends in Houston, and having a short nights sleep my first night here I was whipped out yesterday. Getting back to the condo after a day in the sun I laid down for a quick nap at 6 pm. Only to wake ...
