... the Great Ball Court. If you stand in certain places near the Pyramid and clap your hands the Pyramid literally "talks" back to you (no not an echo) and from what were were told if you play different notes on the drums then more weird and wonderful sounds are produced. I can't remember the finer details, but this temple was built in harmony with the Mayan Solar Calendar, which each level representing the various days and months etc ...

... bezogen wir dann das Zimmer. Uns blieb der Atem fast stehen. So ein wunderschönes Zimmer, mit einer tollen Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Hotelzimmer entpuppte sich von Stunde zu Stunde zu einer grösseren Oase. Es hat sogar eine Kochstelle, wo wir nun unser Frühstück vorbereiten.
Was sofort hier in Playa auffällt sind die vielen Amis, tztztztztz… und die vielen Partyleute, das ist ja we***** das Problem. Aber wenn man die Hauptpromenade entlangläuft wird man von überall zum ...

... Aber dafür haben wir ein paar schöne Bilder für euch ;-)
Morgen geht dann die grosse Autoreise los... Ziel ist das ca. 1600 km entfernte Puerto Escondido (Top 10 Surf-Spot of the World =)). 2-3 Tage werden wir uns Zeit nehmen (müssen). Dafür könnt ihr euch jetzt schon auf eine spannende Story mit den Erlebnissen freuen ;-)

Finding it in Cozumel and losing it in Playa
... we parked our car in the morning. Not there. Walked farther up the street. Not there. 1 block over, 2 blocks down...repeat, repeat, repeat for 2 1/2 hrs walked around the central blocks of Playa looking for our car. I was fighting back tears for the last hour because I was sure that it had been either towed or worse, stolen. We finally went to the Dollar rental car agency in Playa because that is the agency we booked ...
