I seem to have started this **** about, so I'll try to go back to where I left off in my previous missive.

It was Friday the first of May. We'd recaptured Nancy (I may have forgotten to mention that she had managed to untie what I regarded as a perfectly adequate knot), and I was setting off to reward her rescuer. ... busy as it was a Sunday but not too congested & we managed to have a nice stop to ourselves. After the beach we walked up to my Mayan ruins, parts of which are situated right on the beach & it looks just like a postcard :) we had a quick tour around there before heading back to Playa Del Carmen for a bit of dinner, walk along the beach & back to Cancun. By the time we got back, we were all knack erred & so had an hour or so in the hammocks before heading to bed. Sad ...
