    ... back to camp, by this point the heavens had really opened and it was pouring down. The rain was worse than England. As we arrived at camp all you could see was mine and Claire's tent flapping about in the wind and rain hanging on by one peg .     ... so looking forward to driving it (especially after watching the Billy Connolly show about it) but it is nearly impossible to follow exactly and basically we are not impressed! We have pretty much decided to do the next section to Albuquerque, and then we are going to give the rest a miss and do some sightseeing!     ... the place was pretty crowded. They offered a lunch buffet of salad bar, hamburger steak wrapped in bacon, chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, carrots, green beans, dinner rolls and dessert. Glen ordered a BLT. Once I saw the chicken fried chicken ... I had no choice! LOL

    The food was awesome! Service was very good. The place was very busy which to us was a very good sign. The place could use a facelift ...
