      Zakopane- Morskie Oko

A travel blog entry by whelan_89 on Dec 20, 2014

... so many photos when was silly as halfway up the mountain there was snow every where and so much prettier than at the start. It was sitting on the leaves on the trees and the road was thick with it. There were horse drawn carts you could pay to give you a lift up there but they charged you 30 zloty each one way. When we got to the end it was really beautiful and worth the walk. The lake had started to freeze over and the mountains surrounding it were all snow capped! There was ...

      Sightseeing in Amsterdam

A travel blog entry by whelan_89 on Dec 11, 2014

We went off to the Anne frank house today which is about a diary a little girl wrote when they went into hiding during the Second World War. They were hiding from the Germans who were taking hostage of all the Jews and sending them off to concentration camps once found. It was a really good museum with a horrible story. After the tour we wondered through the city if canals and walked through Vondel park and ...

We are not really in to museums that much so we didn't go inside- we would have liked to have seen the Mona Lisa but paying the entry fee just too see that we didn't think it was worth it. From the louvre we walked through the park AAAAAA and down the chans GET SPELLING!!! which is the main drag of Paris. We wondered through the christmas markets which went on for miles and grabbed ...

... also pretty cheap at about €8 per bag! Disneyland is so pretty I could just wonder around it for hours! I think jason was expecting more crazy rides etc however it is a park for kids and not for the big kids! We lined up for an hour and met mickey mouse which was cool and I loved doing the "it's a small world" boat ride which I had done with mum and dad in Disneyland Tokyo- it's such a beautiful ride! We did a few ...

      Marseille to Lyon

A travel blog entry by whelan_89 on Dec 01, 2014

... 200 euro each to get anywhere which is so crazy. He got us tickets for 10 euro each!!! We arrived at their flat and antione took us around town and showed us the sites. There isn't a great deal to see in lyon but the city itself is very pretty. It is suppose to be more traditionally French then paris as it hasn't been taken over by tourism. It's the second largest city in France. Antione took us to a local restaurant to try some ...
