... Volvo’s relationship with its cab services.

We finally arrived at a huge Volvo complex about 15 miles outside Gothenburg, encompassing many acres. We passed the company's main world headquarters, and were delivered to a modern-looking building nearby.

There was another round of apologies for the lack of the promised airport pickup on Sunday and the delay this morning. And then Joyce was given a stack of paperwork to approve and sign. ...

... did not disappoint! Gothenburg is full of cute cafes and restuaurants so it was difficult to choose one when we were hungry. I think breakfast may be the more important meal in Sweden because we noticed that numerous places offered breakfast or bruch buffets everyday and for most of the morning. ... don’t think I have ever had the pleasure. No sudden overwhelming realisation that I have no idea where I am and where I should be heading, kicking myself that I didn’t simply google and print out directions from a remote airport to a place of civilization.

Staring out of the window on the plane was a pleasant surprise. I have taken to sleeping right through landing, not being excited as I once was, expectantly gazing down to see some mysterious land, only to ...

... have fully electric models on the horizon - I keep hoping that will be our next buy. The program is a great deal, but not without its issues. They really do need to find a better travel management company to work with. Frankly, I'm amazed we actually made ALL THREE (too many) flights. We literally had to sprint at the airport in Copenhagen to make our connection, there were many who simply didn't make it. Volvo provides passes to the SAS VIP Lounge ...
