... to the city, and cycled a very hilly route in the extreme humidity and arrived sweating profusely at the Reception counter, to enquire if I could use their laundry. They happily obliged and I got our washing done for $10. I cycled back to the city on the designated "flat" cycling route, narrowly missing getting completely drenched by the afternoon thunderstorms.

One more rest day today before we head onwards and upwards the west coast of Sweden.

... I spoke mostly to a German and South Korean girl. They were both very friendly and interesting and yes I just had to ask the South Korea girl about her opinion on the things happening in North Korea and was surprised by her answer! Later Pru and I headed to an amazing club spread over many levels that had a boutique hotel kind of feel. We met Americans, more Koreans, Spanish, Brits and Iranians. Well I should ask, shouldn't people come to Melbourne not Sydney - be quiet my Sydney friends!

Yes Goteborg (spelled this way here and when referred to outside of Scandinavia - which is made up of Norway, Sweden and Denmark, Finland is a Nordic country; it is spelled Gothenburg) is the 2nd major city in Sweden.

Second reason, my friend Judy and I hope to go to the Ice Hotel up north via Stockholm in January.
