    At least our hotel was centrally located, near all this shopping, and across a very wide street and canal from the central train station. The sidewalks are crowded, and there is a constant stream of buses and streetcars.

    Goteborg- quirky! Funky cobbled stone streets, local women on the streets selling knick knacks, many tasty cafe's & international restaurants/bars. Copenhagen- We loved the wharf area, Christiania, the meat packing district, beers on the street... Colorful buildings, friendly people, bikes everywhere, beautiful parks & street art. Would definitely come back ...

    Well we're afloat. Not on Celtic Warrior but in rooms in the Hotel Ibis in the centre of Gothenburg which is an old ferry or some such vessel that has been converted. It's a great hotel if you're at all interested and you need inexpensive accommodation in Gothenburg.

    ... Hotel and was laughing out loud (overly loud because of the headphone) through much of it. She's traveling completely solo and this is her first time overseas. Her final destination was Oslo, Norway, to catch a cruise. She's going to have the time of her life. It was great chatting with her and enjoying her little old lady Mississippi accent.
