... of the free breakfast. Up at one of the top positions of free breakfasts so far with cereal, toasts, biscuits and tea! Using the bus, which we thought was great because we didn't have to pay, we made our way to sirmione. Unsure of where to go once there we followed the crowds and ended up walking through the town which was pretty and eventually we found the beach. Had lunch in a cafe overlooking the beach. Guess what we had? Of course pizza! Although ...

Update on last night: Had a really nice meal out which started with a glass of prosecco because we had to wait a couple of a minutes for an outside table. Look at the top of the pyramid on the dollar bill and see a ...

Observations Sometimes one has to be the master of their own fate. As in Greece when I chose to visit the acropolis da sola-alone- so this morning I decided I will travel to Verona. Annalia has taken on a translation job and the weather will be extremely hot no matter where I am. Three hours on an air conditioned train will not be hard to take. I bought a first class ticket for the Frecciabianca, I have a hotel reservation ...

... became to drive to Sirmione instead! It's a beautiful medieval little historic town at the South of the Lake that sits on a tiny little island at the end of a narrow strip of land about 20-30 mins drive away. The entrance to the island is guarded by a beautiful castle built in 1277 complete with moat and guarding the tiny little entrance way to the village - no way Mike could drive the caravan through here! It was really busy so we had parked on the edge of the town ...
