    Yes... we finally made it to the highlight of the trip for Eamon...... The Sound of Music tour :)We spent this afternoon touring round Salzburg in a mini-bus with 6 Americans and David our tour leader, visiting key buildings and film spots from the film, whilst in between times singing along with the sound track.....E loved it as you can imagine :) Seriously though...     We find a pleasant ACSI site Wolfgangsee Birkenstrand just past St Gilgen. The next day is glorious sunshine so we take a walk toward Strobl along the edge of the lake.     ... when our bus arrived, completely decorated with the Sound of Music. Our bus driver was called Laslo who according to Peter was due back in prison at 6 and his favourite film was not actually the Sound of Music, but Speed. Saw all the film locations like the house, lake, church, gazebo etc. On the way to the church it decided to rain so I got wet as i didn't bring any coat but chloe was pretty pleased with herself in her "eco-poncho" aka a plastic bag. ...
