    251km today 10chf , 15.70chf Left hot como at 10.15 and headed to Switzerland. No motorways today just bendy roads over the Swiss Alps. Arrived at our hotel around 4pm, headed into lauterbrunan for dinner. Hotel alpenblick £118

    ... steep journey up. In addition to the regular track there was a gear line. And there was about 50 minutes where we were inside a tunnel so no scenery to distract. We were lucky on the way up but not on the way down, but more about that later. when we finally arrived the view of the mountains and valley was just spectacular.     Ok we are on to lucern Switzerland. Everyday we use 4 AA batteries taking at least 300 photos and videos a day. But the drive to lucern was way over the norm. Picture postcards all the way. I felt like a photographer because the photos were perfect. So before this trip is over we should have about 7-9,000 photos if my math is right.     ... is one of the most famous areas in the world for extreme sports such as BASE jumping. It's a beautiful town that sits on a lake and is surrounded by the Alps. I was able to drive up this mountain road which overlooked the whole town. All around you were snow capped mountains. It was one of the most beautiful places I had seen in my travels.
