    ... the restaurant. It was here Briony got to pilot a helicopter up the mountain and lead us to the helipad of Piz Gloria. They had heaps of cools tuff up there and a lot of history about the movie that was shot.

    ... overlooking the river, unfortunately the morning was very foggy which prevented us seeing some of the magnificent castles on the vineyard lined hills. We passed the legendary Loreley Rock which soars 120 metres above the waterline and it is also the name of a feminine water spirit.     ... so had no choice but to pay. Clearly an error on our part, of all the countries and hotels to slip up we choose possibly one of the most expensive! 60 franks for the two of us, which is more than we have paid for a dinner on holiday so far ....... Darn and double darn.

    ... tasty! At home I usually eat whole wheat pasta with low sugar pasta this meal was a treat for me haha. We noticed that there was a nightclub attached to the hotel, but it was closed for renovation. It looked like it could have been fun, but I am sure would be no match to our bar/club crawl.
