... Guadeloupe River. The view is wonderful and there are trails to hike, which I intend to do in the morning.
The only eventful thing to happen today was we picked up a nail in one of the tires on the Honda. Thanks to my handy I-Phone, we found a place to fix it and it took 15 minutes and $15.00. Eazy-Peazy!
... and on ramps,six lanes full of traffic make sure that you have a GPS even then be prepared to take the wrong ramp occasionally.Other driver are generally courteous letting people merge and change lanes,just indicate early. Most states let you turn right on a red light if the way is clear.
Heading to San Antonio for a two day break,we are just a bit over half way on our road trip.
... as we traveled and took sleeping bags and bedding with us. The cabin had a Queen bed, full bath, WiFI, air conditioning, and mini kitchen. It even had a porch swing. We enjoyed being in the cabin and had a good night's sleep. The next day we learned the hotels were so pricey and all sold out because of the oil boom in town. ... clown who kept the crowd laughing even before the show started. At every show we went to Giselle and the kids sat in the splash zone. Jeff, Dad and I wanted no part of that. Poor Michael wanted to get wet at every show but the whales would always miss them! Finally at the last show we attended they got drenched. Michael was so pleased! The kids thought it was cool to eat off the table with no plates- just a piece of white paper for a placemat. The children didn't enjoy the food as much as the adults did!
