          Driving into the centre of Cusco, I was stunned - it really was a sight for sore eyes.
          It's a beautiful place, full of old colonial-style architecture, churches, squares and fountains, all surrounded by a stunning, green mountain range. Everywhere you turn, there's another fabulous view.

          We set off early to Cusco after having a lovely night in the lodge, it was going to be a long day. The drive took 13 hours longer than expected because of traffic and meeting the truck late after spending time in the mountains again on the way out of Chivy.
