We learnt about the symbols in the weaving, and what they meant and also watched the final touches being weaved to complete a rug, or bag on the edge, like we use an overlocker, they weave, symbols on the edge, mostly the princess eye.

... again for lunch, however we decided instead to visit the Chivay markets, which turned out to be amazing. Their was so much fresh fruit, and the street food was delicious (although i was extra cautious as i am a magnet for food poisoning).

After this we headed back into Arequipa, we have a free afternoon there, and will fly to Cuzco tomorrow, beginning preparations for the Inca Trail.

The days passed by quickly, and before we knew it we were leaving for the Inca trail the next morning. 2 American guys, Bryan and Zach, had joined us in our hostel room, and it turned out we were going on the Inca trail in the same group. We had a quiet last night, as we had to get up at 5 am. However, we knew we were staying in Cusco for a couple nights after the Inca trail, so it was not goodbye, only see you soon!
