Days 7 and 8
... as ever. We then walk up Brocco Bank to what used to be a warren of student halls and flats, searching around in vain for Earnshaw Hall, where I lived in my first year. After consulting Google Maps, I see a pile of rubble where it used to be. Earnshaw, along with other nearby halls, was apparently pulled down in 2006 to make way for the new Endcliffe student village. All very modern and fabulous, I'm sure, but I can't help feeling sad.
