... it onto our flight and as we settled in to watch our safety video, our air hostess decided to break out in dance and fling herself down the aisle from the front to the back of the plane. How she did not hurt herself or anyone else for that matter is astounding. I'm wondering if Virgin America Hosties get danger money for performing that break dance ?? ... do it. As we walked back, we noticed a deer off to the side of the trail with 2 new born babies just learning how to walk. It was quite a sight, but we weren't really sure what to do when one of the babies walked right up to our feet. It was a beautiful sight, but at the same time we all thought should we really be training this little one that humans are friendly?!!!!?

... groves were often filled with fog and incredibly dark... They had an almost spooky feel to them. Night came quickly and we were forced to find a nearby campground in the dark, wgile the rains continued to pound down.

... just around the corner to see if we could pick up information on San Francisco, Los Angeles or Sequoia National Park. A couple of leaflets and email to a new friends who lives between these two cities later, we headed out of Merced, stocking up at the supermarket first. We had changed our plans again and now were heading to Sequoia National Park instead of either of the two cities, as we hoped to see our friends first, as they may be able to give us tips on what to see and do in the cities.
