Need for Speed
... to Lookout Mountain where we were rewarded with sweeping views of the valley. The Green Run was 2-3 times longer than Strawberry and some parts were fairly steep, but we managed to make it down twice without injury. It was a much clearer day than last time I was up there although there wasn't any fresh snow which made any falls quite a bit harder. It has been a good 2 weeks now since any decent snowfall.

... I filled up mine and was very interested to see what Glacier water tasted like in comparison to tap water, bottled water and even rain water. Let me just say this, Glacier water tastes incredible!!! It is so clean and pure, is the best way I can describe it. It doesn’t have the bottled water taste, it is just the purest water you can ever drink. This water lasted me a few days as my bottle was so big so I got to enjoy it for a few days.

Summer Birthday Fun
... a barbeque organised at the other staff accommodation on Cougar Street so Nico and I headed over there to cook up some of the unused steaks from the day before. The group consisted of people working in various different departments from the Voyager and it was nice to talk to people I don’t usually get the chance to speak to. Oh Canada, Eh?!
... musical. And at the end, they sang several songs about Canada, including one in French. It was a neat show, and we enjoyed it!
After the show, we drove back to Banff, and now are trying to get everything all packed up, because tonight is our last night in Banff. We have had a wonderful time in Banff and enjoyed every minute of it, so we are sad to leave the area, but we are looking forward to the rest of our trip!

Our room (okay, suite) has a two-story view of an incredible peak (if I can upload the photo, I will.) After dining at the "Pub" tonight, Jono asked why anyone would want to eat anywhere else. And, the RimRock Pastry Chef has been named Top Pastry Chef in Canada for the past 3 years! I think I'll be eating dessert first for the next few days.
