Our stay at Medicine Bow National Forest

A travel blog entry by cdizzle813 on Jul 13, 2014

  • We liked the scenery and area so much that we decided to stay here for a couple days.
  • In these days we stayed here we hiked many areas.
  • The amount of wildlife we saw was immense.
  • Deer and elk were almost everywhere.
  • As an avid hunter it was beautiful to see all of the wildlife.

Medicine Bow National Forest is one of the most spectacular places I've ever been to. The views of mountains topping over 12,000 feet is amazing. At one point we were above the tree line and we could see the many different trees and their different hues of green accenting the bright blue water. It was an awesome experience and I would love to go back and see it again some day.

És ben ben el "Wild West". L'elk que presideix el menjador el va caçar ell. És immens. En Brent és expert en el llaç i ens ...

... barbershop and went inside to get a haircut. I was number three in line, and we all got talking. The barber, Larry, knew much about Laramie. I told him that I was trying to locate Pennie and Gary Espeland who live in Laramie. Gary is a second-cousin of Andy Engel, whose great-grandfather came to the US from Norway, when he was only 18 years old. Andy had given me their phone number and when I called I was referred to ...

... of 24 degrees and they told us today that tomorrow morning is supposed to be even colder. We did not get any pictures of the antelope, but we have a couple from the Wyoming Territorial prison here in Laramie. We walked the cold, cold mile from our campsite to this historic site which is most famous for one of its prisoners, Butch Cassidy. Very interesting tour of the prison and grounds.
