On Monday September 29Th, i woke up at 7:34 A.M, which usually doesn't happen. I had jerseys, bags, shoes, cones, socks, basketballs, books... all on the floor waiting to be packed. The excitement has been in me a while ago but the sadness started to hit me when i think about my family and friends. I pulled out my computer and had the song HAPPY by Pharrell Williams on repeat because it motivated ...

Today was a true driving day. We traveled over 500 miles crossing over almost three states. We continued across the panhandle of Texas, through Oklahoma, and across much of Kansas finally stopping at Topeka.

country. The film and the displays in the museum gave a very good picture of the life of the settlers and the story behind the law. Surprisingly 30 of the 50 states had homestead land available at some time during the life of the Homestead Act, including Florida. The Act was repealed in 1976, except in Alaska where it continued into the mid 1980’s. ...

It is late and I'm up and excited to be packing for Malta. Nick and I watched a couple episodes of house hunters that my mom saved for us on her DVR. Malta looks gorgeous. The weather outlook is supposed to be fantastic and I'm looking forward to donning my sun hat and sundresses on the beach. Right now, I'm mostly preoccupied with organization and fighting with my printer/scanner to get all my documents documented. The neat thing about travel of ...
