    ... too early as pretty much everything was closed.

    On the upside when in Hollywood we dropped into the Fossil shop just on the offchance and they did have the watch Elaine was chasing but couldn't get in either Australia or yesterday in Santa Monica. Across the road was a movie premiere for a film called McFarland so people were set up to take pictures.

    Was interesting to hear about Spanish background to LA as our knowledge of US history ...

    ... Dave and decided to leave to the Griffith Observatory pretty much straight away so the sun would still be there. We went in Patrick his red rental car which was a Dodge Challenger.
