Time to go. The boys played in the pool while we packed up the stuff. A last lunch at Olive Garden on the way to the airport, with lots of salad and deep fried lasagne for Reuben. We said goodbye very sadly. The Evos went to a nearby mall for some ...

... only be told that we wasn’t allowed in without ID! (are you kidding us). We have travelled a great distance and our hotel was definitely not just down the road. We argue for what felt like a lifetime just to give this woman our hard earned money to train at this gym. After a while she granted us entry (the relief!) ... a few streets with super big original and unique houses. Literally all of the houses in those streets were different. I totally saw a few of my dream houses, however I'm pretty sure I'd never be able to afford something like that. After that we thought we'd seen enough of Beverly for today and took a lyft back home. Our driver Katie was fun and chatty. She was originally from Mexico and is an actress in LA, how cool!

      CHAPTER 5: Disneyland!

A travel blog entry by madsandmike on Jun 08, 2014

An early morning start began the day that I have been thinking of for most of my 22, nearly 23, years; the day we went to Disneyland. A bit of a sour start when our transfer bus was 40 minutes late. But a quick chat to a few poms, a call to the bus company, prompted the bus to arrive just as the concierge pick up the phone. Typical, I say, TYPICAL!!! An around about trip to pick up a few ...
