... came around after a couple of beers (no alcohol free day, ha, ha,) and we were seated with the same couple from lunch. They are travelling home to Los Angeles after setting their son up in StLouis, where he is attending University. They decided to have a bit of an extended break and take the train back. We were telling them about our trip and they mentioned they would love to see Australia. Of course, we had to tell them about that and what to see as ...

... After looking at the display we went downstairs to see the space shuttle. The display was awesome. It had the space shuttle suspended horizontally in a big warehouse building and you could walk around it and get a good idea of how huge it was. There was lots of information about previous launches and the workings of the space shuttle around the walls. There was also a cool shop with all sorts of novelty things to do with space shuttles. I really liked ...

We were off to Knotts Berry Farm today.
We were staying only 10 minutes away so unplugged and headed away at
8am. The plan was to get lunch supplies from the local supermarket,

So we went to Smart and Final (does that sound like a supermarket to
you??) and then to the carpark of Knotts. We were about as far away
from the entrance as we could possibly be and ...

... wheels on my feet again! Skating on Venice beach was the name of the game and I was very impressed with how quickly Jinny took to it. She went from "I'm not sure, but I *think* I might be having a good time" to "I'm definitely having a good time" in about five minutes. And not even a hint of falling over. Apart from when we hit sand on the paths. That stuff stops your wheels dead! Still, we managed to stay upright and make it back to the skate shop in one ...
