... just wandering around town here...
I reach Caroll Creek again on the south side of town. Here's where I took my video clip back in 2008, when I officially parkbenched Frederick. Once again I enjoy the beautiful bridges and painted on fake stone facades... Yes, I'm glad I came back for a second time...
And now, I'd better head down the road. I still have a lot of walking to do.

... Bullock and Melissa McCarthy - hilariously good, I would recommend seeing it, but it has lots of 'cussing' in it as Sharon would say :-)

Waking up to roaches in Frederick

A travel blog entry by litesfamily on Oct 06, 2012

Well, these are not exactly the kind of memories that we had hoped to make on this trip. Roaches in our room at the Travelodge in Frederick,VA. Yep, we could not get out of there fast enough. We should have known walking in last night. The smell alone should have tipped us off to the classiness of the joint but we went ahead to the elevator, which we almost walked right by because the door looked like some sort of service elevator. When the door ...

... realized when the guard smiled that Beth and I had swapped passports and we had a good laugh. The guard let us through with a laugh and a smile and a "enjoy your trip". Once we got to security we did the usual procedure of take everything out of your pockets, take off your sunglasses and check your jewelry. I was certain I would get additional screening due to just the volume of cords, electronics and gear I had stowed in my ...

      Molly's final thoughts

A travel blog entry by mozambique on Jun 04, 2011

There are so many layers, so many levels to our trip to Cambine that it is difficult to know where to start. But as I was reading through the blogs already written it occurred to me that one thing that hadn't been touched on was the incredible team of people who heard God’s call to come to Mozambique. I would like to share a few words about each person who came and their many different gifts and talents.

First of all I would like to thank ...
