... along the way so that we are completing Rotary's mission.

Although the road to my current point has been very long and filled with several small hurdles and challenges it has all been worth it because now my trip begins in only two short days. On the 25th of August I will embark on the greatest journey of my life. My starting point will be my own front door, from there I will travel to New ...

... then took off for Assateague Island Lighthouse to shoot photos of us. After shooting those works of art at the lighthouse we headed for the beach. We sat at the beach for a few hours critiquing everything from the birds to bathing suits. This led to our major moaning about our trip being over, and tomorrow we head for home. Donna was getting tired, so we headed in the direction of the hotel. However, we drove through ...

... panicking. I started thinking about my friends and family and how I am not going to be around them for five months. I started thinking about the flight and how terrified I am of it. I started thinking about the dangers that come along with being in a foreign country.
I went and talked to my mom and explained how I was feeling. After a long hug and a long talk, she ensured me that I was going to be fine and that I was going to have ...
