140413-Sunday Morning Coming Down

I want to start this segment by saying on the
last input, what looked like a picture of Campbell at The Rogers Centre, is

... Too funny. We sat by the Mississippi River and watched the Paddle Wheeler take off and in the evening they played the Calliope for about a half hour. It was quite a treat.

The last time we were in New Orleans was in 1974, for Mardi Gras, so it was nice to see it again. We were pleasantly surprised by what we saw in the downtown area. We didn't have a chance to go out to the areas that were hardest hit by Katrina and I'm sure they are not fine yet.

... on which once stood a large house, now gone. There, amidst huge old trees dripping with Spanish Moss, I camped and spent the afternoon with the boys actively fishing. We didn't catch anything, but saw a huge alligator swimming by and barely missed catching a Gar which must have been at least three feet long... ask the boys, it has probably grown since then. That evening we all had a cookout complete ...
