... salad during the Feast, because I don't fix my daily salads as I do at home.

It was a pleasant lead-in to the Last Great Day. The hymn-sing was wonderful, and they did not seem to need any more pianists after all. It was an hour long, and I could have gone another hour, although probably best not to, as the girls and I needed to preserve our voices for the choir for both services next day. Other things we did in the last couple of days were grocery shopping and clothing/gift shopping. But it will be convenient to save four of the meal tickets for the Last Great Day.

After breakfast we did some Bible Study and I worked on this travel blog. Then it was time to get a quick lunch ...

We left our house just before 9 am on the Sabbath (26th) and drove to the Knoxville UCG congregation. It was easy to find the location, a high quality conference center with various different rooms, often apparently used for weddings, etc. Mr. Stan Martin, the pastor, was already in Jekyll Island, since he coordinates the Feast there this year.

Lacy & Frances Mayes were there, and later, Barbara & Madalene arrived. They had already ...
