It was a pleasant lead-in to the Last Great Day. The hymn-sing was wonderful, and they did not seem to need any more pianists after all. It was an hour long, and I could have gone another hour, although probably best not to, as the girls and I needed to preserve our voices for the choir for both services next day. Lacy & Frances Mayes were there, and later, Barbara & Madalene arrived. They had already ...
