Here we were able to see original manuscripts from Robert Frost and Emily Dickinson. The special collections curator wasn't there, but a woman on staff unlocked it and allowed us to walk around. Bev had arranged a table for us in the café downstairs so we met there for lunch. ... I'm reading a book called "The Boy Who Fell Out of the Sky" about the hi-jacked plane that exploded over Lockerbie. Not a good book to be reading when you're about to fly. I just extra worry because I have kids now. I want to see my kids grow up!!!!!! They need their Mommy!!!!!!!! OK, I won't dwell on it.
Well, should go. I'm at school now and should get my act together before the kids start invading. DEEP BREATH........
... at 8 am. Early flights (or early anythings) are not my thing.
So in the last month before trip the tasks are:
- Get some good walking shoes
- New lightweight jacket
- An emergency cellphone/iPad charger
- Start making packing list.
- Book the side trips and timed-entry tickets
- Finalize our itinerary
- Get house into shape as much as possible so I don't come back to a total hovel.
