... carolers out front, bows and garland on the balconies, wreaths and snowflakes engraved into the glass on the front doors, huge Christmas trees, nativity scenes, Santas and reindeer, wreaths, decorations above the fireplaces, and a large glockenschpiel and clock. Each hour, a Santa comes out of the clock, and the glockenschpiel plays a Christmas song.

... probably my favorite way to see Christmas lights! There were some great songs. One I hadn't heard before was Christmas with a Capitol C by Go Fish as it has really awesome lyrics. And I love "Wizards in Winter" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. (That group sounds familiar!) Every tree or light that is choreographed has to do this song at least once. It’s awesome! WELL, HUBBY AND I DECIDED IT WAS TIME
FOR A NEAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT TO US
AND TO OURS... A TRIP TO GATLINBURG.
WE LEFT OUT ABOUT 7:30 AM. THE KIDS
LEFT OUT ABOUT 3:30 PM. WE MET THEM
AT THE FOOT OF THE MOUNTAIN AND LED
THE WAY TO THE CABIN. THE FIRST TIME
AT NIGHT WOULD BE HARD TO FIND.

THE CABIN, WE CHOSE WAS CALLED
"CANTERBURY WINE". IT WAS A
BEAUTIFUL ...

... and jump on a shuttle to the ticket gates, the lady conductor is DP personified: blonde, perky, happy, welcoming. It's not cheap to get in, over $100 each but totally worth it (in my opinion). A few of the rides were bare knuckle, but most were just OK. We were lucky enough to be there during the Christmas season, and the whole place was lit up with millions and millions of fairy lights, magical! Jesus and Christianity are everywhere, tempted to buy a "Jesus loves you" ...
