... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.

We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!

Oh my, what a shock! But let me begin at the beginning When we left Chattanooga, we high tailed it for the Cherohala Skyway. Weather report had suggested there would be bad weather in the afternoon so we tried to beat the weather. Unfortunately it didn't quite work out that way and we didn't get up onto the Skyway before the rain - lots of it came through. What a bummer. It is the power of the inter webs that Mom and I found our adventure for today. With no plans while the boys headed to Bristol Speedway, we happened to find Panther Creek State Park through Google.
