... Gestrand op 23 man en een dak vol bagage, reden we hobbelend de bergen tegemoet... Na 5 uur maakten we dan de overstap op een inventief samengelaste 4X4 om de 'new road' richting Chamche in te zetten. Wie het horen van 'new road' aan een mooi geasfalteerde weg denkt door het berglandschap, komt van een beschoren reis thuis. We spreken hier over een offroad, pas uit de rotsen geexplodeerde rotsweg langs diepe ravijnen. Hoogteverschillen van een halve meter in het wegdek ...

And then the fun part... coming down. Its at this part I'd like to point out that the man we hired bikes from had told us that they were not proper mountain bikes and weren't properly designed for off road... but sod that, its all part of the fun.
