    ... the animals in the zoo.  We went searching in the zoo store for t-shirts, but no good ones.  Our ticket came with a free ride on the aerial tram, so we decided to take the tram over the zoo to where it ends by the polar bears, and check out some of the gift shops on the way back to the entrance.  It turned out the zoo store sold every t-shirt that was available at any of the gift shops we looked at.  So by the end, Jody got a snow leopard shirt and I got nothing.  ...

    ... a table along one of the pathways. We spent five hours in The Lost Forest, Northern Frontier, Panda Canyon, Asian Passage, Elephant Odyssey, and had to hurry to see Urban Jungle, and the Outback before it was time go to meet Maureen and Larry for dinner.

    ... to the people. We spent 3 hours listening to Percytelling us about the history and the Inca people. We had a really good lunch and we still had time to go back in to see more but it was starting to sprinkle rain, were really lucky up to this point because this is rainy season and it could have been totally overcast and rainy the whole time we were here. We decided to just go back down to the town and do some shopping so we didn't have to get wet.

    ... But now, every merchant is in their own glass-enclosed little store. It is typical of the way that the Chinese "fix" things. They modernize and lose all the cultural significance and charm that a place once had. It is still fun to shop here, just not as much as it once was. I love how the vendors yell at you -- either to come into their store or to come back when they haven't lowered the price enough. I just bought a "Rolex" for $30.     ... bus ride we arrived at the stop and walked to building that had the keys. Only thing is, they weren't there. We had no idea what we had to go.
