When the cabin lights came on, I thought we were about to land. However, that was not the case. Lucas and I were surprised when we saw the flight attendant pull the cart down the aisle. It was another snack time! This time it included a hard boiled egg and pickle sandwich, a mini snack pack with a fig bar, white cheddar cranberry cheese, crackers, and the cutest tic tacs! ... ourselves into the holiday spirit. This meant that Casey was able to indulge her inner Julia Childs! We utilized every pot and pan at least a dozen times and then some. Gravy, side dishes, and a plethora of soups were made and consumed. Then there was the washing of the pots, pans and the sundry cooking utensils! By the end of our visit, I think it’s safe to say that we broke in their newly renovated kitchen big time!
