... lunch "crowd" and the typical red checked table cloths. We ate BBQ— good smoky flavor; but very dry; stew—more tomatoey that our area with ground meat; slaw; and white bread. The sauces have more tomato. The mild is really sweet and the medium is about as spicy as North Carolina mild. It was a good experience.

8:30 - Waffle House for breakfast. They have all sorts of choices of breakfast for $5 including coffee AND a coffee to go... and/or water. We both had a egg & bacon sandwich on just about the best cheese biscuit I have ever had - light as a feather. ... right there on the church campus and it was surprisingly very good. The church has the M58 Cafe. I'm not sure what the M58 stands for, but the food comes from Farm 58, a ministry related (half-way house sort of thing I think), sustainable farming place where they grow the food. I was so impressed with the quality and the cradle to grave concept. The ambiance is far from a traditional church but very warm and comfortable. What a great concept for the church ...
