Blessed to arrive safely in Atlanta, where it was 68 degrees! Had a scrumptious home-cooked dinner of shrimp and grits with my cousin Sandy, and her husband Terry. Will spend tomorrow with my sister before she escorts me to the airport. More when I arrive at LAX, Ca!

... only went down that darn hill 4 times. Lame. That ish was way too expensive to go down the hill only 4 times. It was fun, I'll admit, it just wasn't worth it.

Overall, I guess we had fun. Savannah seemed content, although most of her time spent at the campsite was inside on her phone. LG was happy as long as she was being entertained, and if she wasn't, it was meltdown time. I spent most of the time at the campsite ...

... back. My complete lack of security is unsettling, and therefore, I can’t completely relax back in the states. That said, all of those issues will get resolved eventually, either with a new job when I return, or with the start of an endless cycle of poverty and unemployment. Either way, I will know what I am dealing with.

... to get everything packed.

It is an overcast day here in Atlanta & ready to fly out. Made it to the airport & sock monkey is anxiously waiting for the shuttle to take us to the international terminal. We found everyone at the gate & boarded the plane. The captain informed us that our flight would be 9 hours and 8 minutes, with an on time arrival.

Our next stop…..Rome!!

... all of the lines of rope weaving back and forth just for fun... The lady waiting to check my passport looked annoyed, or amused... I'm not sure which. I had 5 TSA people watch me unpack my bag and take off my shoes and beltand then all 5 watched as my bag went through the screen, and all five watched as I walked though the body scan thing... They were supppper bored... A friendly janitor named D gave me a map of the airport and told me the best ...
