Older military history and strategy is all a little weird to me – armies travelling through enemy territory. Well, it is getting cold outside, the sun is still shining but one starts to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate ;-) and yesterday, while talking, we both thought, that would be nice, sitting here, warm, looking at the television maybe, and ... knitting! ;-)
So, we will go to Frederick, MD this afternoon to Michael's, a big store for all kind of handy craft, to buy wool ;-) After that we will go to Barley and Hops, microbrewery ...

We had a late lunch in Gettysburg and then had to do the obligatory museum tour with a live re-enactment of the battle scene. The car seemed to go OK and so we hope for a good snooze before an early start at 0700 ...
