          Edinburgh was an overnight stop-off for us before we head north into the Scottish Highlands. Breakfast on Wednesday morning offered the same food as the other hotels we had stayed in with one exception - Black Pudding.           ... Castle - ruined as a result of a war of course - made a dramatic foreground to the loch.
          The weather has been just superb. We haven't had the very high temperatures of the south of England, but 23 is a hot day up here and it's been that all week. It's been a bit cloudy on and off and close to the coast, the wind has a bit of a nip, but today is very sunny and warm.
