Taste testing all the different varieties of fish was fun & I particularly love having fresh really tasty shrimp so often. We thought the famous Key Lime Pie was just a lime cheesecake - very over rated!!

Miles driven so far = 11,155

We have been "lounging" here on the white sand beaches for past few days. We drove 424 miles from Savannah on north Georgia coast down through Jacksonville then across thru Tallahassee (Florida State University) over to pan handle then south to Grayton Beach State Park which is 40 miles NW of Panama City.

This little gem lies in between towns with multitudes of high rise condos, ...

... we drove around the area and checked out the beach and walked on the pier. What we noted was that the beach sand is very white and very fine, almost like sugar. While on the pier, we saw a couple sea turtles, but no fish or dolphins. Our penultimate day on the road saw us make our way to Panama City for a stop over at a beach resort.
