... is the first church over in Europe we had been asked to pay to go in.

Surrounding the cathedral we saw a wonderful old open top charabanc bus with 2 horses to pull it, to take tourists on a trip. On these cobbled streets it would certainly be a very bumpy ride as there were no tires on the wheels! There was a yellow tour bus from the 1930s advertised but we did not see it.

... found the grave of Private Perry and left a little cross.

After that we headed to Bruges ...wow it was really amazing but there was as many tourists there as in Paris, they were everywhere. We had a little difficulty parking but nothing a quick dash up a one way street the wrong way couldn't fix....I didn't know it was one way at the time, all I knew was there was an empty bay :-)

... from all over the world. Its trademark is the pink elephant. I tried the staple delirium lager which was really tasty. After staying a while we realized that the people we where with were ok, but not really who we enjoy hanging round too much, a bit young so feeling tired we called it a night. There was a German guy who was 16? The legal age for drinker beer is 16 in Europe, was weird felt like he shouldn't have been there.

We were supposed to leave on Sunday the 2nd but as we had a electrical problem which I couldn't repair I had to go to an Technicien to get it done on Monday. We got it fixed together with a nice bill of 450 €(short circuit and 2 new batteries). So Wednesday we got up at 5 o'clock and left at 6 direction Luxembourg, we tanked off course (1,18 for diesel) and took the national roads direction Metz - Nancy - Besançon - ...
