... that was part of the original fortifications of Antwerp. The old port and market buildings, the Maritime Museum, all with their own history.

The Australian Ice-cream Company: had to try, even though it remained a chilly day. Back to the station, an impressive building both inside and out. Sampled one of the local favourites, waffles with chocolate and cream.....a definite killer!

... and L'Occitane en Provence stores (not sure what that is but really expensive).
Rain was starting so time to crash back at the room. Thank God Belgium is flat or we might get tired.
I have to give full credit to my able assistant and muse, Joanne? She keeps a diary of daily events and I need to refer to it constantly as a reminder of the day. Between the two of us, we almost have one good memory.

... no need for a piece of over proof carbon, talk about a tight wad but hell he is a dork. after a nice lunch we went past this statue thing and he made Nancy kiss it hand ewww it was ugly as but who are we to compare, then we went into this really cool building it was full of this bloke hanging around on a cross and had all sorts of wonderful people looking after him and then the penny dropped this was the one and only JC wow never saw him painted in so many ways ...

... which took only about 45 minutes. We checked into our little hotel and unloaded our bags. For dinner, we decided to stay in and eat at the hotel's restaurant. Turns out, it was a very fancy restaurant.
