It was great: we had a view out the door of the shelter of lightning behind the mountains past the lake. Today, we head into the Smokies. It's supposed to be pretty cold tonight, down around 25 degrees, but the rest of the time it's supposed to be fairly mild with maybe some thunderstorms later in the week. ... feeling crossing into another state knowing I was that much closer to Maine. We are currently in Franklin, North Carolina getting the greasiest burger I can find and piling a couple of milkshakes on top of it. I can honestly say that was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Both of my knees are hurting really bad from all of the stress put on them from ...
