The weirdest experience was a restaurant called 'Dick's Last Resort'. These restaurants are everywhere now that we are aware of them. overlooking The Narrows. Eastatoe Creek

up, we stopped to put some marking tape on a tree indicating that the falls are
to the right, and then made the hike back up.
... aptly name "Harley" in a very expensive and nicely decked-out side car ($7500 - yikes). "Harley", however, looked like she was very much enjoying her ride, as well as the attention she received, and the scenery.
We took Rt 215 off the Parkway....very nice road, except Sandi does NOT like chip-n-seal gravel roads. Very nice twisties, and a few waterfalls along the way.
Stopped to pee at a gas station/Church of The Lord/pastry shop just south ...
... We wished them safe travels, and suggested he park the bike in gear, with his foot on the kickstand....
Still had a very nice day of riding. 268 Miles today. Glad to be in the room and relaxing.
Ate a late lunch at Salty Dog Seafood. There was a bunch of loud bikers there (dirty, rotten bikers) from some completely forgettable motorcycle club; see, I already forgot the name. Completely loud, obnoxious and messy. Could not wait for them ...
