... apartment on the North Shore. Chrissie and Darren made me feel at home and have been helping with advise. Their place is fantastic and just south of Grouse mountain. So i attempted my first hike... Unfortunately it was not to be. % mins in i was turned back as there had been Cougar sightings and hiking on your own is not advised while their about!!

Neville, Angela’s brother took us on a tour around the farm and for us city slickers it was an eye opener to see how much work is done on a farm on a continual basis, phew it exhausted me and I was again eternally grateful that there are people out there who are willing to do all this work so the rest of us have good food to eat. ... We had an early dinner, because we were planning to walk to the stadium. We walked to BC Place, the stadium which hosted many events for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and were a little curious as to why, only 30 minutes before the match, it was empty. There were no lights on, no staff members, no other fans. It was all a little confusing. ... look at the world from that perspective? We were very high up...not sure just how high...I will have to find that out later. We managed to return in time for a party down the street from Ranger's. I believe We just attended a "Grunge Party" ...Ranger wasn't sure either. At first it was very interesting music...but, since it didn't change much, I grew tired of it...of course, I am pretty tired anyway ...
