... is blocked off. Music is pumping. People are everywhere. Wearing skyscraper heels. Glitter. Rainbow clothing. Occasionally, not wearing much at all. The street is alive with people and the energy is incredible, bouying my spirits and sweeping me along in the madness all the way to English Bay.

English Bay. The only beach in Canada with Palm trees. Where I whiled away the evening on a picnic blanket. With good friends, spiked lemonade, and one of the ...

The glacier is substantial, but hard to see through the mist and trees, so the photos are inconclusive, and we pass into the first tunnel (mile 51) before we get a decent look at it. As we wound along ...

... was a bad day concerning health, because we had fries for lunch AND dinner. I tried to limit the amount of fries I ate, but it's still not as good as when you can have a 'frikandel speciaal' with it. God I miss those.

In the afternoon Marloes, Abby and I went to a 4-D theatre show at the aquarium. This was really weird to experience, but worth it (and it was free!). We got water in our face, a piece of string slapping ...
