fortunate to have Devon with me for 8 1/2 months, he joined me on
every meeting and offshore equipment demonstrations we had. Then to
have Dylan join us in Argentina for the final 6 weeks was amazing. He
is studying Geography at Uvic and tells me now that he has seen first
hand that our coastlines need dramatic attention so he will now focus on
Coastal Conservation in his 3rd year.

Today was forecast wet and wet it was. I rose at 6am to join Arthur on his commute and after coffee purchase caught the bus to Stanley Park. I had arranged to meet Denise at the aquarium at 10 so that left plenty of time for a walk around Stanley park. The Davie St. party, had nearly everything you could hope for in an event and it also had atmosphere. You did not feel like it was just a once over and go home…They had events and play areas for kids, yet the adults enjoyed these just as much – ok ok, I am a kid at heart still lol.
There were food vendors and a lot of the restaurants had side venues for food or discounted items ...

... that I met earlier on in my trip in Phillie - we went for dinner, then embarrassingly lost the pub trivia and headed for one more at another pub with some guys from the hostel, from Australia and Oakland.

The next day, I went to meet the girl from the train for my hair cut. I didn't realize that I was being a hair cut model for her interview, no pressure on my locks! We arrive at a barber shop. Honestly I felt like it was a scene fresh prince, everyone around me ...
