Ashleigh had today off work so the 3 of us made our way to Lynn Canyon Park. Initially we were planning on going to the more well known Capillano but we had been told by numerous people that Lynn Canyon was worth the trip as it also had a suspension bridge (not quite as big as Capillano) and it is free to visit.

... on the wild decent. We descended very well this time but only dabbed our feet because of those in front baulking.
By the time we reached the aid station everyone was sorted out and we continued on up the next very long ascent loosing only a few places before reaching the Enduro (timed downhill) section.

Next to the site was a heritage-protected church which was in a state of disrepair because of a lack of funds. ... some lifelong friends along the way and basically have had a ball!! I am so looking forward to sleeping in the same bed for 7 nights and will be actually able to unpack my bag, or should I say bags as I have had to purchase a second for all my purchases (no surprise for those that know me really well).
Tomorrow we go by coach to Seattle so it is over the US border, so that will be interesting and then onto the MS Amsterdam for my Alaskan Adventure!!
