Seeing Janet try to figure out how to strap ice to her bike and herself to cool down was the highlight of the trip today, besides the twisties (curved rides that are great fun to ride on a motorcycle).

... of I-64 and drove up to the ranger station at Twin Knobs Campground even though the sign at the entrance said the campground was full. The ranger said, "Oh yeah, we have plenty of sites. We just didn't change the sign." We got a great site near the lake.

... Museum of the American Saddlebred, a high-stepping show horse developed in Kentucky. A very worthwhile visit. After finding a place to buy some groceries, I headed south on I-75, crossed the Kentucky River, and then six miles up a country road to Fort Boonesborough State Park campground.
