It's about seven weeks before we start the Selkirk Tour on Sept 1. Bob is on his Motorcycle scouting the route that we will ride. The pictures he has sent are beautiful. I'm really looking forward to it. Linda and I are staying close to home anticipating our first grandchild around the 6th of August. Maureen, Dick, Bob and I ...

... we weren't going that way anyway. We had a drink at a bar by Lake Tahoe and toasted our trip. All in all it was great and as crazy as we were to take a 50 year old airstream 7,000 miles it went pretty well. We'll have to do a few repairs when we get back but nothing major. Unfortunately now it is flat out too dangerous to attempt two. Mountain passes this time of year are notorious for the ...

... t have lots of clothes on under my ski stuff and I was still sweating! After a short break, I went once more down the mountain and by then we were ready to head back into town. To be honest, I could have kept going all day! I loved it! Yer my legs were sore and my butt was getting bruised with all my stacks- but I just loved the thrill and challenge of the slopes! I'm gonna do it again soon for sure! After a little snooze at the hotel in the arvo- Paul, ...

Greg and Mark where up early to go fishing on a charter boat (38ft) in Lake Tahoe. They came home with a few fish but nothing of any size. Greg said if was like catching garfish.

It was rather windy today too, so would have been a bit lumpy on the water.

I slept in after waking early and reading for a couple of hours. Sorted some more photos.

Did some shopping to replenish supplies before heading off ...
