So I’m just enjoying a small single serving bottle of cherry torched rum by Bacardi. Good, yummy cherry flavor and scent, highly recommended. A great mix with cherry 7UP or cherry Coke.

... and pine trees that make the scenery even better. The water here is absolutely crystal clear and I haven't seen too many lakes that are this clean. We probably drove another 20 minutes to enter the California side of Tahoe, which is much more developed. We still stopped at all the beaches if there were any, but most of the California side was developed with houses and not public beaches. The houses were actually mostly cabins, which I liked. ...
... our checked luggage & had a brief interview with each couple, wanting to know where we've been, what we've been doing, where we plan to go, when we are leaving etc etc. We we're let out about 10 mins before our flight was about to board. A beautiful drive up into the mountains brought us to Lake Tahoe where we spent two days and one night.
1. On a hot, busy summer weekend, make sure you get to the lakefront parks early or you may not find a parking spot.
2. Lake Tahoe would have made a great national park, rather than the haphazardly overdeveloped tourist site that it is now. Plan to visit the local parks, not the town of South Lake ...
