The surface is now undulating slightly, and just as I get to the crest of one mound, certain that this is near the end, I see that there is at least another kilometre or so spreading out ahead of me.     ... br> Its a good thing that the weather is so good as this part of the track, especially when it ascends to fairly featureless plateaus nearer to the next hut and campsite, is known to be frequently foggy, which makes it easy to get disoriented and lost. People do indeed get lost here, and sometimes die because of this. No such problems today however.

It is much smaller than Reno and the place we stayed, Comstock RV, was very convenient to everything including Trader Joes and Starbucks.     We have been advised to head back to the 395 to go north to Lake Tahoe as it is apparently the best drive, this does mean back tracking a little bit, heading out of the park via the Tioga Pass which is the same route we entered the park, but we really don't mind at the drive was so beautiful. The snow has cleared a lot since we entered the park 2 days ago and it looks completely different. We have seen some amazing sights in Yosemite and today was no exception. ...
