Woke up sleepy but refreshed and ready for a new fun filled day! Got hannah up and ready with 20 min to spare for breakfast. We enjoyed French toast and strawberry yogurt. Plus an awesome cup of coffee, and hannah brought some tea for later, back to the room. I laughed so hard when we got back to the room- hannah has her own card, and when the door ...

Day Five – The Long Road Home

We slept in late, which was good. We had a six hour drive home. Oh no, six hours with Garmin and Kim telling me how to drive. Because it was a holiday weekend, there were a lot of cops on the Ohio highways. After a few close calls, I slowed down a little. After I got through Columbus, I turned Garmin off. She allowed me to have ...

I got three lenses cleaned and checked. I was nice to have it done before vacation!! I really enjoyed the three lenses. I want to buy the 100 – 400 mm, but will ...

Hmmm. You may have noticed that I attended the 100th anniversary of the Indy 500 a few years ago. During both World Wars, there was no racing in America, so there was less than 100 races in those 100 years.

The events leading to the Indy 500 were not looking so good for the Indycar series. At the beginning of the season, Indycars got new bodywork and the first races were excellent. There was talk that the speeds would approach the record set ...
